Thank You for Making the Guest Chef Spectacular a Spectacular Success! $94,700 Raised to Support Our Job Training Programs!

Thanks to all who attended our June 5th Guest Chef Spectacular event at Showbox SoDo! It was a grand celebration of the talented chefs, restaurants and other food industry partners that support FareStart’s training programs throughout the year. And, to cap off the festivities, $94,700 was raised to support our job training programs!

FareStart’s Guest Chef Spectacular is possible thanks to the generous support of the community. Thank you! Additionally, a very special “high-five” goes out to all the restaurants, chefs, wineries, breweries, distilleries and other fine folks who provided the evening's tastes for their invaluable support of our Guest Chef Spectacular. A fun “fist bump” goes out to our incredible FareStart staff and volunteers, who worked tirelessly before, during, and after the event. “Snaps” to Seattle Met and Charlie’s Produce for providing the fun photo booth (visit seattlemet.com to view photos from the event). A round of “jazz hands” for the Bric-a-brac Quartet for providing the musical entertainment. And, finally a “tip-of-the-hat” to Dr. Alan Marsh for being our emcee. Thank you!
